Fukuma loses by default in shogi title series

Japanese baseball legend Nagashima dies at 89

Yomiuri Giants manager Shigeo Nagashima is pictured with his No. 3 jersey shown to the media and fans during spring training in Miyazaki, southwestern Japan, on Feb. 12, 2000.
